We don't just showcase our products; we also help you experience the differences in thermal insulation and sound insulation and understand the performance required of windows and the importance of choosing the right windows by introducing how you can maintain them. Our dedicated advisors recommend the best products tailored to your needs, to support you in creating better living spaces.
Additionally, we focus on sharing information online from home through Web contents "Ouchi de Showroom (Showroom at home)", which provides tips on how to choose products as if you are visiting a showroom, and a dedicated website offering information on the health benefits of vinyl and remodeling with vinyl windows, etc.
If you are professional users, we continue to distribute and share information with professional users, taking advantages of both the real world and online platforms through contents such as "YKK AP Taikan Showroom (YKK AP Experience Showroom)", where you can experience window performance, "Proposal 8th", where our next-generation concepts are presented for commercial products with life-sized displays,online events for professional users involved in home construction.
"TDY Alliance": Remodeling Business Partnership
YKK AP has been in a business partnership with TOTO Ltd. and Daiken Corporation in the remodeling field since February 2002. Through the "TDY Alliance", we collaborate in areas such as product planning, development, and sales support, with the alliance's message being "Bringing Smiles to Life". We propose remodeling spaces made possible by combining the products of the 3 companies, an endeavor we call "10 People, 10 Homes". We disseminate information through 13 collaborative showrooms nationwide, large-scale fairs, and the "TDY Remodeling Information Site" on our Website.
Global Expansion of Showrooms
We are expanding showrooms around the world as bases for introducing our products to a wider audience. In FY2022, we renovated our showrooms in Bangkok (Thailand), Kaohsiung (Taiwan), and Jakarta (Indonesia), and in FY2023, we renovated our showroom in Atlanta (U.S.A.). In Indonesia, the YKK AP Experience Studio, a showroom for end-users, who are primarily custom-built home owners, opened in December 2022; it was attached to the Jakarta sales office, which was relocated to central Jakarta. It has six exhibition spaces, including an area for visitors to experience the watertight performance of the company's products. By creating further business opportunities, we will contribute to increasing the value of buildings in many different regions.
SE (Sales Engineers)
One of our greatest strengths in terms of proposal capability is our sales engineers (SE), who make technical proposals together with sales representatives. Our proposals are based on our knowledge of housing as a whole, and are designed not only for new construction but also for the revitalization of the market for stock housing.
We also provide information to help address the requests and problems of professional users, tailored to the characteristics of individual regions, such as verifying the value of shutters in snowy areas.
