YKK AP CO., LTD. Receives Two Brand-related Awards in China

  YKK AP CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China; President: Zhaohui Liu), an overseas affiliated company of YKK AP Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hidemitsu Hori), has received two brand-related awards in China. YKK AP was the only Japanese-affiliated company to do so at this time.

■ FY2021-FY2022 17th AL-Survey Architectural Windows and CW Industry Brand List

  The FY2021-FY2022 17th AL-Survey Architectural Windows and CW Industry Brand List, Top 10 Window Brand*¹ is an award sponsored by the China Construction Metal Structure Association. Award recipients are selected through online voting by general users and specialist evaluations. YKK AP Co., Ltd. is the only foreign-affiliated company to have received this award for seven consecutive years.

■ Desirable Architectural Products Brand Award (desirable architectural products brands selected by top 500 Chinese real estate developers and purchasers)

The “Desirable Architectural Products Brand Award” (desirable architectural products brands selected by top 500 Chinese real estate developers and purchasers)*², is an award system sponsored by the China Real Estate Association. Five hundred association-member Chinese real estate developers from around China, which are top-rated in terms of comprehensive abilities, select the brands they find desirable. YKK AP Co., Ltd. has been selected for 12 years in a row. Rankings by region are also published in this award. YKK AP has been highly ranked in each region, including as No. 1 in the East China and Northeast China regions, No. 2 in the Central China, South China, and West China regions, and No. 3 in the North China region.

This award, sponsored by the China Construction Metal Structure Association. was created in 2005 to evaluate excellent brand companies that lead the overall doors and windows industry in China in making a social contribution through supply chain development, quality enhancement, technological capabilities, and products, and services. Evaluations take the form of public voting through the Internet as well as evaluations by a specialist committee. It consists of a total of eight categories, with YKK AP CO., LTD. receiving an award in the “doors and windows” category.
