YKK AP CO., LTD. Receives Two Brand-related Awards in China

YKK AP Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hidemitsu Hori) announced that its overseas affiliated company YKK AP CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China; President: Zhaohui Liu) became the only Japanese affiliated company to receive two brand-related awards in China.

The 16th AL-Survey Architectural Windows and CW Industry Brand List, Top 10 Window Brand*¹ is an award sponsored by the China Construction Metal Structure Association in which recipients are selected through online voting by general users and specialist evaluations. YKK AP CO., LTD. received this award for the sixth consecutive year.

The Desirable Architectural Products Brand Award (desirable architectural products brands selected by top 500 Chinese real estate developers and purchasers)*² is an award system sponsored by the China Real Estate Association. Five hundred association-member Chinese real estate companies from around China, which are top-rated in terms of comprehensive capabilities, select the brands they find desirable. YKK AP CO., LTD. has been selected for 11 years in a row. Rankings by region are also published in this award. YKK AP has been highly ranked in each region, including as No. 1 in the East China and Northeast China regions, No. 2 in the Central, South, and West China regions, and No. 3 in the North China region.

An award created in 2005 and sponsored by the China Construction Metal Structure Association. The award recognizes excellent brand companies that lead the overall doors and windows industry in China in making a social contribution through supply chain development, quality enhancement, and their technological capabilities, products, and services. It consists of a total of eight categories. Evaluations take the form of online public voting and evaluations by a specialist committee.

An award system in which 500 real estate developers from throughout China, which belong to the China Real Estate Association (an incorporated association under the jurisdiction of the Chinese Ministry of Construction) and are top-rated in terms of comprehensive abilities, make the selections. Rankings are also published for each of six regions—North, Central, East, South, Northeast, and West China.
